Sneaky Dee’s is proud to be taking part in The Art Of War: A Photo Auction In Loving Memory Of Paul Gourlie, on October 25 at Moniker Gallery. Paul was a regular and beloved member of the Sneaky Dee’s community! As a booking agent, Paul’s hard work and passion for the music industry can be credited for the success of many local, national, and international artist in today’s music world. It was through commitment to his work with The Agency Group that allowed a long list of musicians a platform upon which to showcase their talent.
Paul passed on May 10th, 2013 after a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. In honour of his life and the impact he has made on the music community, Toronto-band The Balconies are hosting an art auction on October 25th, 2013 at Moniker Gallery in Toronto (425 Richmond St. West). Named after one of Paul’s favourite books — The Art of War by Sun Tzu — the exhibit will feature exclusive photographs of artists from his roster, including The Balconies, USS, The Stanfields, Bring Me The Horizon, The Trews, In-Flight Safety, Charlie Winston, We Came As Romans, Misery Signals, A Tribe Called Red, and others. The photos (some signed by the artist) will be available for purchase through silent auction, with all profits going to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
The silent auction begins at 12pm and Sneaky Dee’s will be to serving snacks to attendees from 4pm-7pm.
